Rheumatologist Profile

I come to NorthBay from David Grant Medical Center at Travis Air Force Base, where I was a staff rheumatologist; I have served 11 years in the U.S. Air Force. As a rheumatologist, I diagnose and treat patients with complex autoimmune diseases, including rheumatoid arthritis and lupus — just to name a few.

These conditions are often complex, and can affect the joints, muscles, bones and even the internal organs and brain, which can affect my patients' lifestyles in a variety of ways. My patients benefit from my specialty training in rheumatology and many years of experience at David Grant Medical Center.

Listening carefully to my patients is an important part of diagnosing and treating their disease. I also take an active role in educating my patients to help them manage their medical conditions. I want my patients to leave my office feeling that I really listened to them and knowing that they have a healthcare advocate who will work with them to improve their quality of life.

I care for adult patients ages 18 and older.
